Synopsis.
Finding Jefferson.. Finding ourselves... We all go through it, the time in our lives where we don't know where to turn. When our friends are likely the only people truly there for us. When we question ourselves and who we are. When guys start growing facial hair and we all really want to tell them to shave it but can't figure out a polite way to do so. When we ask the big questions such as "What is love?", "Who can I trust?", or "Does this eyeliner make me look fat?".
These are their times, these are our times.
The show follows the life of a young man, Jefferson, and his seemingly unique group of friends, as they strive to survive what should be the best years of their lives and discover that it’s hard to find yourself in a world full of people that aren’t you. All Jefferson has are his friends, his girlfriend, Jude, and his homosexual admirer, Heidi. It takes pains, but Jude learns to trust her boyfriend and takes reassurance in her newly arrived foreign exchange student, Vinerva.
When the pressures of school become too difficult for Jefferson, he turns to his book-smart friend Betsy for help. But, like the others, Betsy faces her fair amount of teen angst. With her on this road is her friend Ivy, whose depressing attitude might be more than some attempt to fall into the "emo" fad. As different as the energetic Betsy and apathetic Ivy are, they’re best friends until the end.
And so the Finding Jefferson crew try to find their way through high school with sometimes shocking, sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes hilarious results.
